Who bothers

There's too many stuffs running in my mind. Certain things that overthrow my own philosophy to life.

Pretense

Finally next saturday is the last day of intership in Shanghai. 4 days of holidays before my flight on thurs, 10.10am. Will be reaching sg at 3.30pm. I guess I will very much miss my working colleagues here. I don't know why. But somehow I see how sincere the both of them (my two closest working colleagues other than sean) treat us. We are just like a family. I see no motive behind them. Not a single of pretense. Not like any other people who see us from a different angle when we first stepped into this piece of land. Though I admited that I had never like the place when I first came, but it was them who changed my whole perception of the people here. And yes, the whole finance department people are so nice that they could be the reason for me to extend my stay here.

And now, I'm leaving soon. Waiting for the time to come where things will all be back in place or probably back to square one ... I reflected on what I had done throughout this whole period of 11 weeks in the company and of course, my days with the 3 other interns.

Since the day I had decided to fly here, it ain't that easy as I thought it would be. Be it people, surrounding or probably unexpected issues and events ... they are never within my control. Many times, I cried over the phone when it could only be a minor issue. I had seen and learnt the tactics of even playing with mind games. Not really to the the extend of playing with people relationship. But I certainly feel that the phrase, "Never judge a book by its cover" is so true that I started to be more aware. Being oblivious can really kills. And I guess the flexibility of the character is important. Reason being, I'm so used to being around people who got almost the same frequency and thinking as me that I become too comfortable. I used the same method of treating and talking to peope everywhere I go. And yes, I guess I encountered quite a few who I know I can't communicate with my usual way.

Sometimes I thought of giving up on these people who obviously do not belong to "my category" cause they are too tiring too handle. But what can I do if were to be put together with them one day? Just like how you can't choose your working colleagues. I got no choice but to adapt and be more flexible, I guess.

Continued- I guess there's a breakdown. I couldn't continue thinking along the line after my dinner. Anyway, the thought of having just 8 more days of work scares me. I will miss them as much as anything else.

Till next time.

One day

I know i'm really slow and my 3 peeps had already posted about it. No choice. Reason being, Rachel and Hy get to use the net during their working hours, Sean got excellent internet connection over at his room. And well, I can only blog when i'm free and got the remaining energy to shift my lappy over to the guys' room at night ):

Hang Zhou, Day 1! I swear their train seats are so much more spacious and comfortable than airplane's. Clean and nice :D

The hotel room. Air-con spoiled and smelled bad. Good game ):

That night, Rachel and I shifted over to sleep with Xue Er cause our room was really bad.
Oh yeah, my manicure! Treatment+Manicure, 60 yuan (12 SGD)

Lunch after 1hr20mins train ride!

Exploring Hang Zhou!

Anna Sui concept store which is not available in sg. One piece of shirt after discount is about 500-600 yuan. Cheapest somemore. So imagine how expensive!
Hang Zhou, Day 2! Would very much want to post more pictures for day 2. But too bad, the internet connection went haywire ):

Yes, they are all CHINA PEOPLE way way way till the very far end!

Anw, sorry for the lack of updates. Reason being, days are rather hectic and the pace is catching up on me. Anw, the same old usual. The air in Shanghai is damn bad. My complexion is getting from bad to worse since the day i stepped into this piece of land. Bought some masks back home the day before (:

Been running around most of the time during my working hours. From boutiques to department stores, just to check and adjust the Vm on the winter collection. Yes, visual merchandiser to be exact. And so every morning, Sean and i will have to do some office work which include keying of sales/stocks record data till lunch time before we go out to visit the stores. The opportunity to further explore Shanghai and their shopping malls (: You will be surprised how fast this city of China has developed to keep up to the pace, as in globally. The pace here is even faster than sg. It's all about rushing here and there everyday. Walk fast, eat fast, work fast, play fast, shop fast ... cause time is short and there's way too many things to be done. And now, I realised being a small country is good. Having a smaller population is even better. Don't agree? Come to China then. Squeezing in the train is one thing that is more than enough to prove.

46 more days to my homeland. Very soon i'll be back to join my lovelies. And I'm starting to wonder how much i'll miss this place and the people here. Not to mention, the 3 usuals i face day in and out :D

Alright, got to get going! TGIS (Thanks God it's saturday!) :DDD

Till next time,
Princess Qian

L.I.F.E

Alright, been quite some time since i last updated this cheena blog :)

Anyway, first day of work today after my 5 days of golden week holidays officially ended. It was great with the companion of my mates :D Counting down, 52 more days in Shanghai before i'm back with more actions!

Tues
Went to Qi Pu Lu again for cheap thrills, with Pearleen and Rachel. And as usual, couldn't resist my IPQ behaviour and bought some stuffs back ((:

Wed & Thurs
Hang Zhou (杭州) trip together with the htm girls, pearleen and my mates (10 of us)! The trip was half a disaster due to the overwhelming crowd and really HOT weather! Squeezing through the lanes with people and people still etc. Nevertheless, it was indeed an exposure and a test of tolerance for my "princess" behaviour. Managed to survive through cause i nearly died )):

Fri
Shopping yet again! This time round with Pearleen and i swear this woman is really terrible! She can really buyyyyyyyy :) Ktv at 1am till 3 in the morning. Walked all the way back with my usual 3 peeps. Slept at 5.30am :) One word, shag!

Sat
One of the greatest weekend ever in Shanghai! Lazing around and wasting the afternoon away with not much clutters in mind. The big chefs of the day, Hongyi and Rachel cooked lunch- curry chicken, veg and prata! And so the four of us sat down and had our first home-cooked meals. Watched my fav taiwan drama (finally) and another day gone! :)

Alright, pretty much to the extend that i know this post gonna bored you guys to death. I swear i had never wanted to blog this way. Too bad, lousy internet connection and i'm too lazy to think of how i should better put things across LOLS. Pardon me! Anw, life in Shanghai is damn good cause i got really good companions. It's just that i had got lesser nightlife here, and almost-zero drinking sessions which obviously, i couldn't stand it anymore ): I can't wait to join my lovelies back in sg! HAHA And lastly, thanks for the call that had been pass around from Bff to fiona to xiaowei to ahLong and then finally to bff :D It was soooo great to hear from you guys again!

P/S!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all October babies (Qting, ahFu and Briano!)
I still rmb your birthdaysss k! Though i 'm not physically there to celebrate your birthday, but do keep a slice of cake for me :D Anyway, do enjoy your day!

Till next time,
Princess Qian :D
